Please review before your appointment — booking any service confirms your acceptance of these terms.
Identification & Photo Requirement
Every signer must present a valid, unexpired, government-issued photo ID at the time of the appointment (driver’s license, state ID card, passport, or other ID acceptable under Florida law).
As part of our record-keeping procedures, EPR photographs both the signer’s identification document and the signer at the time of the notarization. These images are stored securely in our electronic notary journal as part of the official record of the notarial act. They are never sold, shared, or used for any other purpose.
Consent to be photographed is a condition of service. If a signer declines the photograph, or cannot present acceptable identification, the notarization will be respectfully declined. Travel and service fees for a declined signing are non-refundable per Section 3.
Electronic Journal & Recording Consent
EPR maintains a secure electronic notary journal for all notarial acts. Each entry records the date and time of the act, the type of document, the identification presented, the photographs described in Section 1, and the signer’s signature. By booking, all signers consent to this electronic record-keeping.
For Remote Online Notarization (RON) sessions, the session is conducted through a state-approved platform that automatically records the full audio-video session and creates an electronic journal entry. Florida law requires these recordings to be retained for a period of ten (10) years. By participating in a RON session, all parties consent to being recorded.
Payment, Cancellation & Refunds
All services are prepaid. Online bookings are paid at the time of booking through eprnotary.store. Quoted services are confirmed only once payment is received.
- Cancellation 24+ hours before the appointment: full refund.
- Cancellation within 24 hours, or no-show: payment may be applied one time toward a rescheduled appointment within 30 days; otherwise it is forfeited.
- Same-day appointments: bookings made for the same calendar day are confirmed immediately and are non-refundable once payment is received. If EPR is unable to fulfill a same-day appointment, you receive a full refund.
- Failed signings: if a notarization cannot be completed for reasons within the signer’s control — including missing or invalid ID, an absent or unprepared signer, incomplete documents, or refusal of the required photograph — travel and service fees are not refunded.
Right to Refuse Service
EPR reserves the right to decline or discontinue any notarization if the signer appears unwilling, coerced, or unable to understand the document being signed; appears impaired; cannot be properly identified; or if the requested act would violate Florida law or notarial standards of practice. This protects every party to the document — including you.

Privacy
When you request a quote or book an appointment, we collect your name, contact information, and the details of your request so we can respond and provide service. We do not sell your information or share it with third parties for marketing. Journal records, ID photographs, and RON recordings are retained securely as required by Florida law and are disclosed only when legally required.
